This site is a dedication to our friend Paul Swenson. Paul only lived 30 years, but his mark on the world will be felt for generations. He squeezed a lot of life into those 30 years… He taught us to laugh, smile, care for each other and be compassionate. Paul’s legacy lives on in each one of us. As we incorporate a piece of him into our lives, we will make the world a better place. We honor Paul by loving others as he did - without judgement, without an ulterior motive, and with complete heart.

A Story by Paul
Look in the mirror, who do you see? Are you big? Are you small? Or somewhere between?

People are made in every shape and size, but that's not who they are. The real person's inside.

We all are unique in our own special way, that's the best part, no ones the same.

So If someone is mean to you, and treats you rude or unkind. Realize they might be sad, and might be hurting inside.

So don't be mean back, choose to be nice. Choose to be one that lifts others, you always decide.
Life can be hard but that's all a choice, you can choose to be happy and find your own voice!

You have your own thoughts, you can decide what you think. So here's the mirror again, what do you see?

Try this one out and see how you feel- say this to yourself, into the mirror.

"I am beautiful, I am kind, I'm special in my own way. I love who I am, no matter what people say."

So don't be scared if someone disagrees, you can be who you want, because you are free.

Free to be loving, happy and kind. Remember you are special, and have been the whole time.
Explanation
Paul wrote this story in the Spring of 2017 for Ashlee and Poppy. Paul’s passion in life was to help people overcome self-doubt. He would often spend hours with his friends and family talking through their problems and offering advice. His dream was to help troubled teenagers and children to build confidence and think positively about themselves.
Please Leave a Nice Memory of Paul
